Elláda, Elláda, Elláda...imprints of Greece...

It was an unforgettable night. OK, you are a sport's fan. And it was not Greece that played and Olimpiakós does not represent the whole country and the politicians in Athens will not come to a better sense, but so what! In times of confusion and anxiety, many Greeks could celebrate last night and on me, it made a tremendous imprint.
I was with a super Olimpiakós fan and friend, Antónis Mallis of Taverna Alónia
and with many people from the village. Most of them dropped in after a long day of work.

19 points down against CSKA Moscow in the final of The Final 4 and with less than 10 minutes to go, a win-win 2 pointer in the last few seconds, after an incredibly ingenious pass from Spanoúlis, turned the evening into pure firework of hugs and kisses and more hugs and more kisses, and floods of tears from the players over there in Konstatinópouli. Blowing horns from passing cars and motor bikes and joy is always OK. This victory certainly did not have any impact on how the world go round, but it created a very friendly environment for an evening of the best of Greek fighting spirit.....
