Thank you, children...

... of Molivos and Kalloni,

on the island of Lesvos,

for a great evening with very emotional experiences.

All of us grown ups, who for long have forgotten how it was to be a child,

were watching you, like our parents watched us once upon a time.

We did our best to please them, to be seen and recognized, 

like you are now trying hard to be seen by us.

I saw both you and myself, rest assured...

Winter giving up. Slowly...

...releasing new energies. Still a morning frost, water is cold,

leaving some ice on the lake side,

but the fish is jumping. Lazy day on a rocking pier,

absolute silence in early morning orange red,

 hot coffee in thermos and talks with friends, 

offering their hospitality in the midst of the awkward change of signs of light,

creating fantasies of trolls and animals and fairy tales...

In the shadow of gray...

...I need these colors and shining light,

while spending time in a land where nature holds it´s breath for months...

Another kind of blossoming...

...changing environment is nothing new, but staying with me differently.

Time is now...

...and I am blinded by it's intensity.

It can be found anywhere, as long as I keep my eyes opened

and the soul on alert...

The very same day...

....hard to believe, but true. The locals hardly believe it,

but it is more a question of opening the eyes

to what is there all the time.

My third eye helps me to look out,

for light that is here or anywhere at a given moment,

helping me to brighten the day and capture the voice out there.

Layers of weave...

 ...always separating us from what might be behind, 

dreams, imaginations, fantasies and hopes.

The weave is everywhere to be found,

just looking out for it´s fragility, 

but never without the risk of also the vulnerable to face.
