A place worth visiting...

Come on, who thinks a petrol station is worth a visit except filling up your tank or having your motor bike cleaned???  Well, if it is so well operated by good, always nice and service minded people like Giorgos and his father, it does! In their business, competition is a word to respect. The text above the door, Μικρή Αγορά simply means Mini Market, selling potato chips and minor spare parts to the car! Not a great variety but who cares? The car that looks like a Dinky Toy, is specially designed to deliver fuel for the heating of all houses in numerous  and narrow alleys in the village! The words friendliness and service do have a real meaning here, easily creating sympathy and loyalty...

  2. Great, but the smile of Giorgos is worth more than plants!

  3. Yes but it's two different stories. The gas-station is a marvel in itself compared to the Donald Duck-architecture and cheapness elsewhere.

  4. ...and, my friend, the holistic picture consists of the combination of what these people are offering, and without that service minded Giorgos, the gas station would have turned into nothing but a gas station. And I fully agree with you re the "normal" gas stations, designed Donald Duck!
