A taverna has many faces...

Here are only two! It is siesta time and the taverna is quiet. The fan is off. Noone to cool yet. I can find myself tip toeing when passing by not to disturb anyone who might be at sleep. The alley outside is narrow and you can hear people lightly snoring...
But in the backlight of the approaching evening, it is time for mezé (appetizers) and ouzo and later on, dinner time when the taverna will be full of the locals. This particlar taverna is not touristic at all, I find very few of them here, it is the place for the "people on the bloc", most often meaning older men and they all cheerfully say "Kalispera" when I pass by! They would do the same to you, if and when you will be here...
