How to be possessed....

An obsession is not always healthy. But the nature of this island at least possesses me. One season is so different from the other. I feel that one imprint that I am carrying with me all through life, is the training of the eye to watch, take in, memorize and enjoy. The same place is never exactly the same when I return to it. I could spend an eternity that i do not own, on making new discoveries on this island of colors and light...

Into a world of very private imprints, that solely are my own! My pictures will hopefully do the work. I have changed many focuses during the time I have had the blog. Mostly in widening where and how I take photos, new motives that are closer to myself, as well as an increased learning of this extremely difficult process and form of art that is called photography. After more than 30 years on the Island of Lesvos, it is natural that imprints from here are dominating, meetings with people, nature and all other aspects of life that this incredible place has to offer.
